Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by nature, particularly al things aquatic. This fascination led me to study biology and ecology. After graduating I worked at WWF Netherlands and Utrecht University and currently work for the World Fish Migration Foundation. Throughout my study and work I have always been very passionate about aquatic ecology. Working for the World Fish Migration Foundation allows me to work on my passion and make a meaningful contribution to the restoration of rivers and aquatic systems on a global scale. I am currently working on general preparations for the WFMD, constructing the WFMP website, an educational Swimway poster, preparations for the Fish Passage Conference 2015 in Groningen and various other subjects.
